Pan Macmillan wanted to create a collaborative working environment and offices that expressed who they were and what they did.
The open plan scheme over five floors for their 180 staff removed all the existing false ceilings, exposed the services and used a palette of materials and a language of understandable details to create a lighter, uncluttered and ‘transparent’ environment that expressed how the company felt about itself.
Looking carefully at how the building would work our desire was to create a unique environment that told the story of the products, processes and values of Pan Macmillan.
