Imagine Children's Festival
We worked with 30 young people from year 6 to design and make an installation within the Royal Festival Hall for Southbank Centre’s Imagine Childrens’ Festival. We ran 5 workshops to investigate the site, draw, model make and finally build elements of the structure with the young people.
The design was 6 metres high and was based on a model by one of the participants, the design included a marshmallow vending machine, a ball pit, interactive sound machines. All the graphics and sound in the structure were produced by the young people.
