DIY Pipe Organ

The DIY organ was designed to be a kit of parts that could be assembled within an hour by up to thirty young people and/or adults as part of a workshop to demonstrate how a pipe organ worked.

We ran participatory workshops with schools as part of the design process. The project was challenging as making an airtight de-constructible and re constructible series of pipes that could be worked by small hands was complicated not to mention our own journey to understand how an organ works!
